Dr. Gayle M. Carter

Gayle M. Carter, M.D., is a well-known physician in Southern Utah and has been in practice for over three decades. He was the inaugural recipient of the Michael Worley Award, presented to the outstanding resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah.
In 1986, Dr. Gayle Carter became board certified in the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is currently serving as a Trustee of the Governing Board, chairman of the Credentials Committee, member of the Executive Committee at Dixie Regional Medical Center and a past chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gayle Carter actively broadens his scope of practice and enjoys furthering his education. For the past decade he has been superbly trained in the use of lasers for cosmetic treatments including hair removal, DOT CO2 fractionated laser for the reduction of pores, fine lines and wrinkles, tattoo removal and laser vein therapy for spider veins. He also specializes in VNUS Closure® for varicose veins, bio-identical hormones, weight management, BOTOX® Cosmetic, and fillers.
